This topic is a multidisciplinary issue, but it mainly relates to nutrition and sun exposure. The aim of this study is to map relationship of vitamin blood levels in relation to diseases of the respiratory system, vitamin D suplementation, recurrent infections, usage of sunscreen with a protective factor, nutrition and outdoor stay in winter months. The study was conducted on a research sample of preschool children. Two sets of data were used to evaluate objectives and research questions. The first research group consisted of 48 children and had 2 groups. The first group of 21 children was established in the Waldorf kindergarten in Rudolfov and the second group of 17 children was created in a non-state medical facility in Trebon. The first research consisted of 48 children who were tested on vitamin D blood level and filled survey questionnaire. The second research consisted of 61 children who were tested on vitamin D blood level in a non-state medical facility. Some results of this study are contradictory because of inadequate methodology. Positive results have been shown with vitamin D supplementation, higher consumption of liver, eggs and daily intake of vegetable oils.

Research group contains nine nurses with different qualification levels from three distinct hospital units and nine patients with different diagnosis of respiratory disease. The research reveals that there are almost no cases of respiratory disease at department of Surgery. On other hand, nurses at department of Pneumology are in daily touch with respiratory diseases and hospitalized patients belong to the Old age category (65+). Coordinated Rehabilitation for Recurrent Respiratory Diseases of Children
HAKOVÁ, Lenka
Respiratory diseases are ones of the most common diseases, which are treated by general practitioners. Not only the right diagnosis is essential, but the treatment as well. The treatment of respiratory diseases is usually long-term and often requires repeating. Health treatment of young children in a spa improves their life and health quality, inclusion in a collective of similar aged children, reduces complications of their disease, doses of medicine and highly reduces the risk of development of a chronical disease in adulthood. The aim of this thesis is to chart the use of coordinated rehabilitation in spa Lázně Luhačovice, a. s. and to survey coordinated rehabilitation awareness of spa medical and non medical personnel and children's accompaniment. Three hypotheses were set. Hypothesis 1: Children's accompaniment, who has been to spa health resort repeatedly percieves the care of his child as coordinated unlike the one who has been to spa health resort just once. Hypothesis 2: Medical staff of children spa health resorts percieves the most the medical treatment part of coordinated rehabilitation in contrast with non medical staff. Hypothesis 3: Children's accompaniment is satisfied the most with the medical treatment part of coordinated rehabilitation unlike the pedagogical and social one. A strategy of quantitative research was used, data was gathered by standardized questionnaires in June and July 2015. The standardized questionnaires were given to two different research groups. First one was spa health resort personnel, second one children's accompaniment in the spa Lázně Luhačovice, a. s. Based on statistical calculations the hypotheses can not be rejected, the results are not statistically significant. From the data obtained from the questionnaires, it is noticable that from the spa health resort medical and non medical personnel point of view, there is percieved only the part, which they provide. On the other hand, from the children's accompaniment point of view the rehabilitation is percieved as coordinated in all the parts provided. It is thanks to the fact that the accompaniment, who is in the spa health resort on the expenses of health insurance company, can see all the parts of coordinated rehabilitation as they undergo it together with their children. This thesis contributes to widening awareness of using parts of coordinated rehabilitation in children repeated respiratory diseases treatment, which are provided in facilities of spa Lázně Luhačovice, a.s. and in other health resorts, where there is this kind of care provided as well.
Physiotherapy for recurrent respiratory diseases of infants in home environment
ŽITNÍKOVÁ, Ivana
This thesis deals with physiotherapy for recurrent respiratory diseases of infants. Respiratory diseases belong to the most common childhood diseases. Therefore it is necessary to pay attention to this issue. The first two goals of this thesis are to cover an issue of respiratory physiotherapy in infants, both theoretically and practically. The third aim is to create a visual guide for parents of infants with respiratory diseases. To achieve these goals, it was necessary to study literature and to become familiar with the therapy in practice. Methods of qualitative research including direct observation techniques, casual interview with mothers, secondary analysis of data and taking photographs were applied in this research. The research group consisted of three infants with respiratory diseases, who come into the care of the pediatrician prof. MD. M. Velemínský, PhD., Dr. H. C., prof. H. C. Indirect anamneses were taken and through aspecting I assessed their postural activity. During three visits over the time horizon of 10 days, mothers of infants were gradually familiarized with the application of techniques of respiratory physiotherapy in order to realize the therapy in the home environment. On the basis of briefing I wrote a manual. I would like to inform the general public about the possibilities of this treatment. I tried to trace the responses of the infants to the application of the techniques of respiratory physiotherapy, to find a correlation between the character of their breathing and the postural activity and, last but not least, I focused on the problems that appeared during the training. This thesis can be beneficial not only for parents of the infants with respiratory diseases but also for the students of physiotherapy. I believe, that the manual I made could above all facilitate the parents of the ill children to participate on their treatment.
